BUiLT published its 2022 highlights.
“We turned two years old in 2022 and we are the fastest growing, least-funded, highest impact, true dues-paying, nonprofit professional organization supporting the Black tech community in the world,” said Peter Beasley, BUiLT’s co-founder and Executive Director. ” By design, our first two years’ growth has been entirely organic! We’ve had no membership, sponsorship, or grant campaigns. I’m proud of that.”
Much work is yet to be done to achieve our near-term, racial-equity goal of 14% of the careers in technology in the US being held by Black people by 2030, #14in2030.
