Receive a $1,500 – $2,000 scholarship and mentoring for 17 to 24 year-old students, declared major in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related discipline.
This scholarship is being offered by Information Technology Senior Management Forum and further race, gender, and age requirements and flexibilities may exist.
– Commitment: One year
– Available via email, phone, or online with Mentor
– Complete all program surveys.
– Mentor/Mentee meeting (about twice a month)
– Speaker Series (about 9 sessions) from industry experts.
– Pre-work, review prerecorded presentations.
– Active participant in monthly group discussions to set Career Goals and Learn How to Build a Professional network
Program Kickoff is September 26th @ 7pm EST. Monthly Speaker Series are held on Tuesdays @ 7 pm EST once a month(schedule is provided to Mentees and Meeting invites are sent out). Monthly Meeting with Mentor once a month (1 hour minimum, can increased in both parties see a need). Workshops, Symposiums, Networking Events are To Be Announced and Optional( highly encouraged).
In order to receive the Scholarship, a mentee must: Attend 80% of Speaker Series Sessions, Meet Monthly with Mentor (missed sessions must be rescheduled). Maintain a 2.5 GPA.
